The impact of covid-19 on the life of Jecinta from Kenya

My name is Jecinta Nairesiai and my school is Moi Girls Nairobi.
I am in form three. I thank God for I am able to communicate with you and say thank you for the support in my education for three years now. Next year I will complete my high school and hope to join university.

I was affected by the Covid-19 a lot because I was supposed to attend online classes but due to poor network in village i missed a lot of classes but I moved to my step father home and was able to join online classes in September.

In the drought I could not continue because I was using my father’s phone but he travelled with cattle to another place. So I used other people phones and it was not very reliable so I missed some classes.

I am back to school today in January and I am very happy.

My dream of becoming a Doctor one day is still valid and I will work hard for that. I am preparing myself in high school to achieve my goal.
