Abel on trainee tour to Machu Picchu!

In April 2021, Abel started a 3-year study to become a guide. He is very interested in Peruvian history and the Inca culture.

Because of the corona pandemic, tourists were not allowed to visit Peru for a long time. But in the autumn of 2021, tourists were permitted to enter the country again, and Abel was lucky to be able to join his uncle Octavio on a tour into the mountains to learn the profession of tour guide in practice.

For his study, he wrote a short review of their trip to Machu Picchu:

“It were great days for me because I learned a lot about the native plants, animals and how they cultivate and process the coffee. The visit to the archeological centre m
Machupicchu was incredible. The view and the energy of the place are simply beautiful. I learned how the place was constructed by Inca ‘Pachacutec’, just by using the stones and rocks, respecting the Mother Earth ‘Pachamama’. I also saw the sun watch/clock, the temple of the condor and learned that Machupicchu possibly was a government place and a place like a university where the young people could learn about the religion, politic and administration. I was happier than other days. I felt possitive energies and practiced my English.”
